What does NRR mean in cricket standings?

Net Run Rate. A tournament tiebreaker calculated by subtracting the average runs conceded per over from the average runs scored per over across all matches played.

What is a powerplay in T20 cricket?

The first six overs of a T20 innings where fielding restrictions apply. Only two fielders may stand outside the 30-yard circle, encouraging aggressive batting early in the innings.

What does LBW mean on a scorecard?

Leg Before Wicket. A dismissal where the ball strikes the batter's body — usually the pad — on a trajectory that would have hit the stumps, given out by the umpire.
